This is not my first novel and hopefully it won’t be my last.
I’ve been writing now for a long time.
The one thing I’ve always said about my writing, especially when asked why I write,
‘I need need writing more than writing needs me’.
There’s a lot of story out there now. We’re knee deep in story and the flood will soon be up to our chins. I’m not sure what a writer’s response should. I guess it’s something else for us to explore.
